I got to hang out with this family tonight to take some pictures for fathers day. It was my first time taking pictures of adult siblings and it was a really great experience. They decided to go downtown to get a more urban feel and they were open for trying anything. I love fun families like that!!! Here’s a sneak peak of some of the pictures I like that I think shows of how much they love each other and what a fun time we had together.

I can’t believe just a little while ago I took their maternity and then very recently newborn pictures. He has already changed since I saw him a few weeks ago and he is still just as beautiful as the first time I saw him.
Got one of the brothers too.

We have had beautiful weather and sunsets here lately and as a photographer who loves warm backlight photographs it’s almost too hard not to capture this. I think my little girl is the most “beautiful girl in the world” and she looks like a while angel at times so she’s my perfect subject to capture this warm light. Being only 2 she has a mind of her own and sometimes…most often…she does not want me to take her picture. Luckily yesterday she decided that we could take some pictures while having fun. I had to run so hard and do so much tickling to get there, but it was so worth it in the end. I can’t stop thinking about all the happiness and laughter she brings to my husband and I. I can’t even describe how much she means to me.

Anette, she is beautiful! I love the way the light filters so softly and the colors of the field, her dress and the bucket all come together perfectly! There are all gorgeous images but I think I prefer the bw ones.

Yesterday I got to hang out with Maggie at her house for her 1 year pictures. She as grown so much since I last took er picture when she was 6 months and she is just as cute. She is such a great walker now too. She was in a great mood during our session and I got so many cute pictures of her. Their yard is also amazing with such a pretty golden light so it made the pictures light and airy.
I love photographing children her age. They are so full of personality and have so many different expressions and they are just pure fun.

I got to see these two super cute siblings this weekend and I think that they are just so much fun to hang out with. The lighting and location we chose for the shots were just breath taking as well. It was such a beautiful sunset and it’s amazing how different the lighting were from the first shot to the last shot even though this part of the session only lasted for about 15 minutes. I don’t think you can find any more beautiful children than this.
I hope you like them.

I haven’t done a post of my little girl in a little while so I decided to post 2 pictures right quick. Everyday I’m amazed by her. She’s truly the coolest, cutest, smartest and best little girl in the world:) She brings my husband and I more smiles and happiness than we though were possible and I had no idea how much I would change because of her. She makes me a better person!! I wish I could describe my love for her but it’s impossible which is funny because being a counselor as my profession makes me pretty good at describing my feelings in most situations:) Ohhh, I love her so much!!!
Today I let her pick between 2 outfits and this is what she picked. I love that she wanted to wear her bright yellow rain boots over her converse shoes which she normally picks out. I knew exactly were we needed to go to bring out the pink in the dress. I love spring time and all the green that is coming out more and more everyday.
I think I have mentioned before that she’s a serious child when the camera comes out. This is a typical face, just that I normally have a hard time getting good eye contact from her. She’s only 2.5 so my next year I hope she’s an easier model. I also looove her hair…it’s so wild but yet perfect.
